Step 1: Check the basic connection
Turn the printer off and back on.
Check the router :
Make sure it is connected to the network and working properly.
Check the printer :
Verify that the blue light on the printer indicator is on.
Press the button on the back of the printer twice. On the printed receipt, make sure the printer has an assigned IP address .
If you don't have an IP address, follow the instructions in this initial setup guide to reconnect your printer to the network.
Step 2: Check your settings in Chrome
If you are sure the printer is connected to the network:
Make sure Chrome is set to allow communication with the printer's IP address. Check that the printer's IP address is included in the Insecure origins treated as secure setting . Follow the instructions in step 3 of the Getting Started guide .
Step 3: Review the settings in FireMenu
Open the FireMenu application.
Go to the Settings section → Printing tab.
Verify that the FireMenu Print Server is configured correctly:
Check that the type ( Ethernet ) and IP address match the current values.
Perform a test print to confirm that everything is working correctly.
Step 4: Configure a static IP address
If you notice that your printer's IP address changes periodically, you can assign it a static IP address to avoid future problems.
Print the printer status ticket by pressing the rear button twice.
Open a browser on your Sunmi device and type the printer's current IP address into the address bar.
Access the printer configuration page :
Click Log in (the default password is empty, leave the password field blank).
Go to the Ethernet section.
In the IP Address (Static) field:
Enter the same address as listed in IP Address (DHCP) , but change the last number to something between 150 and 250. For example, if your DHCP address is 192.168.1.100, you can use 192.168.1.200 as static.
Save this new IP address.
In the Netmask (Static) field:
Enter the same value as shown in Netmask (DHCP) .
Click Save .
Turn the printer off and back on.
Follow steps 3 and 4 of the initial setup guide (specify the new static IP address configured).
Still not working?
