Instructions for Connecting the Printer to the POS

Step 1. Connecting the Printer to the Network
Connect the printer to the router using an Ethernet cable.
Turn on the printer. Wait until the blue light turns on, indicating the printer is connected to the network.
Step 2. Print Printer Status
Locate the button on the back of the printer , near the ports.
Press the button twice to print a receipt with printer status information.
On the printed receipt, look for the printer's IP address (for example, 192.168.1.100 ).


Step 3. Setting up Chrome Browser on Sunmi D3 Pro
Open the Chrome browser.
In the address bar, type: chrome://flags
Search for the Insecure origins treated as secure parameter (use the search field at the top of the page).
In this parameter field, enter the printer's IP address , starting with http:// (for example, http://192.168.10.100 ). If a value is already present , add the new IP address separated by a comma. For example: http://192.168.1.100, http://192.168.1.200
Activate the parameter by clicking Enable .
Click Relaunch in the lower right corner of the browser.
After restarting, close Chrome.
Step 4. Setting Up Printing in FireMenu
Open the FireMenu application.
Go to Settings → Print tab.
Select the FireMenu Print Server option.
Click Add Printer and complete the following fields:
Name : Enter a custom name for the printer (for example, "POS").
Type : Select Ethernet .
IP Address : Enter the IP address of the printer found on the receipt (for example, 192.168.1.100 ).
Specify what should be printed on this printer by selecting the appropriate options:
POS.
Bar.
Kitchen.
If a cash drawer is connected to the printer, check the corresponding box.
Click Save Changes .
